01 — Select
The hide must have a face.
We buy leather for character: healed marks, tight grain, a hand that will soften. Coated splits have no place on this table.
The craft
Nothing here is rushed. A Monarque piece passes through five rooms before it is allowed to wear the crown.

02 — Cut
Each pattern is laid to honour the hide. Panels for a palazzo knee, a biker yoke, a wallet flap — cut so the grain runs as the body moves.
03 — Stitch
Contrast gold on emerald. Invisible on nappa. Quilted shoulders that keep their map. Stitch length is a decision, not a default.
04 — Finish
Zips, buckles and snaps are silver or antique brass. Linings are chosen to disappear. The piece must be quiet in the hand.
05 — Hallmark
Only then is the Monarque label woven in, the crown pressed, the box closed. If it is not good enough to last, it does not leave.
The label
Every jacket and trouser carries the black woven crest. Wallets arrive with a care cloth and a card. The hallmark is for the person who wears it — not for the algorithm that photographed it.
